:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Enter the game using Steam
  2. Go to Settings and turn OFF the SHADOWS option, while having the Obscured Unit Alpha enabled (e.g. set the percentage to 40%)
  3. Go in any Game Mode with any civ
  4. Move settler/units behind a tree or building. Observe that Obscured Unit Alpha is bugged.
  5. Press ESC key. Go to Options → Settings → Graphics Option and enable Shadows while being in the current battle.
  6. Resume the battle. Observe that the Obscured Unit Alpha works as intended.
  7. Go again to the Graphics Options and disable the Shadow setting.
  8. Resume the game. Hind a villager/unit behind a forrest. Notice that even though the setting for shadows is disabled, the Obscured Unit Alpha still works (even though we had the same setting in the begining of the battle when Obscured Unit Alpha was bugged)

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

Obscured Unit Alpha shouldn’t depend on the Shadows setting.
