Wrong gather point behavior when gather point is mined out

When the gather point of the TC is set on a ressource and the ressource is mined out while the villager is on her way, she will seek out a ressource close to herself instead of one close to the mined out ressource, leading to unexpected behavior

Do you experience this issue often? I couldn’t find a way to repro but informed the team about it.

I don’t consciously experience it so often. But I found it easy to reproduce in singleplayer, see the attached rec:

In fact, it’s possible to force even worse behavior, where the vill will walk all the way to the forest, then notice that her tree is gone and then will walk back to the TC to chop a straggler

I would suspect it is related to the fact that the straggler is closer to the TC than the gather point was to the lumber camp. So if you’re trying to reproduce on arabia for example, it might be a little more difficult since strugglers don’t spawn that close to the tc
