 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

Hotkey menu can’t accept numeric inputs. When I try to change control group binds from CTRL+# to SHIFT+#, the game acts as if I haven’t entered anything. I can’t even enter CTRL+# again. In fact, all hotkeys cannot accept any numeric input (modified or not).

  • 100% of the time (ALWAYS)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open AoE II DE on Xbox (possibly only Series X) with Keyboard and Mouse connected and enabled
  2. Settings > Options > Hotkeys
  3. Click pen icon on any hotkey to rebind
  4. Input a number (top row or num pad)
  5. Game fails to recognize input and continues waiting for a valid entry

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

The game would accept the numeric input and assign that hotkey/command to the number selected

 ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

New users cannot upload attachments. In the video I wanted to upload, I attempt to rebind to many different numeric keys. The only way to restore CTRL+1 is by clicking the default circle arrow button. I can’t enter numeric for Attack Ground either.

 Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.
