# Xbox Double Press Job Roles setting hasn't worked since Sept. 2024

### ▶ ISSUE EXPERIENCED

When the Developers fixed the y short cut to production buildings, we had lost the ability to double press villager job roles. In all previous iterations, job roles setting had worked correctly. Double clicking wood cutters, all of the wood cutters on the screen would be selected. Now, the job roles setting acts as if it is turned off and double pressing wood cutters selects all villagers which can be game ending as you have just ruined the macro of your economy.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Turn Xbox on
2. Play any game mode from skirmish with ai to multiplayers.
3. Double Press any Villager doing any task and it will select all villagers, ignoring the job roles setting.
4. Pause the game \> settings \> options \> controller \> selection behavior \> Double Press Villager Job Roles \> verify that it is turned on.

### ▶ EXPECTED RESULT

👇 _What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?_ Double pressing any villager doing a task, only villagers doing the same task on screen would be selected.

This issue appears fixed with latest patch.
