Hey team,
Occasionally I’ll cancel matchmaking to get up and do something, return to the lobby screen, and notice that a few seconds later I’m put into a match.
Unfortunately this happened during my first placement match of S9, causing me 20 seconds of delay which lost me the game. Was hoping for another undefeated season.
I’ll be more careful next time, but was irked enough to report the bug. Matchmaking appears to happen asynchronously, however from the user perspective it might as well be a blocking function; nothing else can be done in the game client when searching for a match. Unsure if this applies to PC as well.
