Playing AOE since 1997, I think, when the AOE trial version first launched. I got so much value out of that demo. Then I moved out of my father’s house and didn’t own a computer for a decade or more. It was even longer before I could afford an internet connection. Now, I’m over 50 and still playing aoeII de, albeit arthritically. Damn, I want my youth back! Playing this game is as close as I can get.
