The Portuguese are overall the strongest civ.
They’re OP tier on Islands, water maps, and Arena, and still S tier on Arabia and all other maps.
Given his playstyle I thought he’d put Jurchens, Magyars and Burmese a tier above where he put them and Celts, Dravidians a tier below. And I might be wrong about this but I think he’d place Wei a tier below after playing them in practice sets for KOTD. That civ is good but has many weaknesses to be considered S-tier. Also don’t understand why he dropped Khitans, Mongols, Mayans and Portugese to A-tier compared to his previous tierlist in late July. Maybe something to do with the current ladder version of Arabia.
Ha Bulgarians still weak as expected
Bulgarians is too predictable but its gameplan is not fast.
Yay AoE2 is now dominated by the Three Kingdoms civs… Great, sure makes me look forward to the ladder and tournaments…

Current Arabia revolves around taking the middle in Castle Age / early Imperial age and then ending the game by pushing the opponent from the middle of the map.
Sad times for Aztecs and Franks; also for the ever lower tier Bulgarians.
I dislike to see the 3K civs so high in the list.
