2025 and can't see map post game

i play with multiple friends cross-play, and some of the xbox people have a hard time either displaying scores or full map reveal post game.

i’ve a bud that plays on xbox console and he toggles on reveal map post game as well as scores during game and when the game ends i can’t see it since im on pc

why on earth would you not reveal map post game
2025 and age of mythology auto reveal map post elim post game in 2003. like are u for real?
why would u even make it an option. oh ur worried the guys that are out are going to tell coms to people that are still ingame??

then make it so their chat gets filtered and only people out of the game can see it, until the game ends completely, then all chat is revealed. age of mythology had this since 2003 btw. as did aoe3.

Your post is a little hard to follow and I feel contradictory in parts, but for this line, I figure it’s so everyone’s battle tactics and/or war machine aren’t fully revealed to the enemy. Strange that Xbox does it and not PC, though.

If you’re awesome at the game and I’m bad, why should I get to see your empire, possibly revealing some of your strategies? Especially if it’s a ranked game. I’ve always wondered why games get auto-recorded and publicized to the world for this very reason.

Maybe the game should give each player an option at the end of the game: “Who do you want to reveal your empire/explorations to: Friends or Everyone?”
(…something like that)
