[34483] FPS lag/drop occurs in crowded battles

  • Build 34483
  • Platform Steam & Windows Store

Issue:

Large number of units battling or moving on the map causes FPS drop if you’re looking at that location

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Host any game, preferred DM with Cheats enabled
  2. Pick civilization with logistics and launch the game
  3. Enable ‘steroids’ cheat
  4. Build some barracks
  5. Spam barracks units (they cost 1/2 pop so technically you can have over 400 units per player
  6. move / battle with these masses and notice the performance drop.

Did you try it with eyevandy on lowest ? Whats your pc spec ?
