Army of the Dead Tips
-Find the builder in the North when prompted by Bran. Build many Barracks/Stables (Depending on units selection) near the Wall and Winterfell. Have many units queued up and your pop full when the dead march. This way as your military fall they will be reinforced immediately.
-Get Samwell to Oldtown before the dead march to get the dragonglass bonus for the Dead giving all military +2 attack.
-Keep Melisandre alive and bring her to the wall when prompted to have R’hllor grant all of your units a blessing of +20 HP.
-Conquer and/or make allies with as much of Westeros as possible prior to the Army of the Dead. Any allies you have made will assist you in the fight.
-Choose the right units (Knights of the Vale, Stormlands Swordsman, and Knights of Summer are probably best) and have 60+ archers by the Wall.
-Save your Golden Company Elephants and use them as meat shields as you pick off the White Walkers with Archers. Once you kill the Night King and White Walkers the rest will fall.
-Save your game when you get Jon Snow’s warning in case it takes you multiple attempts.
-The Army of the Dead are 100% able to be defeated. Do not give up and spam units. No amount of Barracks or Stables are too many. I usually build 30-50 Barracks to spam Stormlands Swordsman but you have many options. Long Bows are my favorite archers for the scenario.
