Relic, fix caster mode please! A lot of people who wants to get the game and also the ones who decide to stick with it enjoy watching these games. This game has so much potential, unique variations in every civilization, beautiful graphics, amazing ost and sfx. PLEASE, don’t throw it away with ignoring caster mode!

Please  World’s edge and Rellic, we really need that new caster mode for FFA, we love FFAs, casters and tournaments bring a lot of people to the game

I watch Drongo nearly every day and can totally understand his point. Especially since FFA will become most likely very popular. Let’s create a better environment for casters, who help to thrive the community very much.

What about a community sprint, to develop those things?

It is crazy that caster mode isn’t being supported at all.

Even putting aside new features, it’s currently missing very important things.

I’m a big fan of Age of Empires 4. I’ve purchased the game, the first expansion, and plan to buy future content as well. While I’m not an active player myself (though my wife enjoys playing against bots), my main connection to the community is through content creators like Aussie_Drongo.

Creators like Drongo play a crucial role in keeping the game alive and thriving. They engage the community, build excitement, and help maintain interest in AoE4. Supporting their needs should be a top priority, right alongside delivering an engaging game experience. Without them, the game risks losing momentum — withouth their engagement and community events (like ongoing Outback Octagon), you risk that the professional players will move on to other games, and AoE4 could slowly fade away.

If your goal is to make AoE4 the true successor to the iconic AoE2, then it’s essential to support content creators. Providing them with the necessary tools, like a functioning caster mode, helps keep the audience engaged and invested in the game.

The game is in a great state right now, so please dedicate some resources—whether it’s a month or two of development or some form of a hackathon—to fix the caster mode and ensure the community can stay engaged. It’s a small investment for the future health of the game.
