A recent official reference to AoE DE

In recent years, official references to Age of Empires: Definitive Edition have been very rare, for obvious reasons.

But now, I saw a 31-second video clip, which is an advertisement for the AoE TikTok account, posted via the social channels (such as X). It shows units from AoE DE (not RoR, its Priests and birds are different) and a small portion of the intro.

I don’t think it implies anything for the future of AoE DE, just found it worth mentioning in this essentially dead subforum.

AoE DE is dead for sure, that’s why I find it surprising that they used its assets for this video (the “Wololo” guys are also available in AoE2 DE).
But I have not completely given up hope for RoR yet…

Its a broken game that needs fixes but no news of anything getting fixed.
