I have tested this multiple times but this is my observation:
Naval trade gets 40% less gold as it has a multiplier of -0.4 which translates to 0.6.
However, if your initial gold value is a 100 this means you’re getting 60 gold from that.
With Spice Roads you’re getting 30 extra gold on top of it which indicates to me that Spice Roads is calculated on the base gold value and not on the adjusted gold value with the Naval Gold Multiplier.
By the looks of it this means you’re getting 50% extra gold instead of 30%.
As the gold/wood values are the same if no bonuses applied, the old gold value is 60.
90 / 60 = 1.5, which means you’re getting 50% extra gold.
