I’ve played Abbasid since 2021, and this is the first rework that made the civ feel less worth mastering.
The June rework removed Abbasid’s most universal strengths — faster research, faster production, and practical trade scaling — and replaced them with narrower, delayed, conditional bonuses. Moving Medical Centers to Imperial Keeps and halving the healing feels especially bad, because many games are decided well before Age IV.
The civ now feels weaker, more conditional, and less rewarding than before.
Please consider restoring part of the old Golden Age identity, especially research or production speed, and moving Medical Centers back to an earlier, more practical timing.
