Adding Blood/Gore

It is 2025, and there were a lot of improvements of the game. One key point for immersion would be a little bit more realism in battles. I mean, combining that awesome soundtrack and battlesounds with a bit of gore and blood shouldn´t be such a big ask, right?

Thank you!

No, you should not expect more than small DLCs along the way. A Blood and gore DLC Is out of possibility. Maybe, we’ll be more lucky with the next AOE.

Not really a fan of adding blood/gore to it? Like I think how it is now for death works just fine/well

We will see.
But the game got already really good updates with the arrow fix and the graphical updates. So maybe on that front sth. is coming. I just wanna do my part pushing them improving more then the things they have in mind.

Just Look at the graphics bro. This game is not for realism and inmersion. Is not going to happen

I vote no for this one. The game gets cluttered in high player count already adding blood and gore will just add to the mess.

It would be an option wich you can select or not.

In Total War Attila, there is a mod to add blood and decapitation animations, etc.

The only negative criticism, is that it’s a paid feature, when it should normally be free like any normal game. Most reviews of this game actually emphasize this point. “Too expensive to add a basic function. What’s next, making a DLC to add the ‘Pause’ button?”

Therefore, I also suggest adding a Mod function or “Extra” graphics option to the game for blood effects, but make it free, because it’s something “basic” that the game should have, like Taunts, tricks and tutorials, or technology trees.

I also tend in this direction. With that everyone could choose, if they want it for the immersion + if their computer can compile this extra task.

I did not know that, but pretty crazy milking money out of an pretty important asset in a “realistic” war game.
