The AI of the African players does not make use of the Ras/Emir’s chaos ability. The Ras/Emir will also engage extremely challenging treasures. Without chaos ability it has no chance.

Many times, the explorer will almost kill off a guardian, but suddenly decide to abandon the treasure if its health is depleted beyond a certain amount.

This happened to the other AI explorers as well, although lately the performance is better. I am sorry to write again about the AI, but I get the feeling that the single player aspects of the game need a lot of love too.

Hopefully the issue is just in the PUP and will not be there in the actual DLC.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play against African AI
  2. Observe AI explorer behavior in a recording.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

:point_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The Ras/Emir should:

  1. Use the chaos ability
  2. Not engage treasures with large number of guardians in Exploration age.
  3. Not abandon treasures if the guardians have been engaged but is possible to be killed.

Here the Ras has engaged 5 bandit riflemen and is not using chaos.

Ras dies after attempting no less than 4 treasures but picking up none. Useless loss of hp.
