Age of empires 2 Crashes after launching a battle

Issue:

Reproduction Steps:

  1. After launching any battle (random battle, multiplayer or campaing) the game crashes instantly, this didnt happen on last update and already did a lot of troubleshooting on the FAQ pages, still none of them worked.
