The primary battlegrounds between players require more complex and useful terrain, particularly with regard to cliffs. As demonstrated in the Art of War tutorial, you should be able to leverage the landscape to execute engaging counterattacks during player vs. player combat. This would significantly enhance the overall game experience.
The maps also need an update concerning woodline layouts, taking inspiration from Age of Empires II. Dense forests should no longer appear in unsightly, perfectly circular clumps. These woodlines should be positioned somewhat farther from the Town Center, forcing players to devise their own defense strategies for their lumberjacks, rather than solely relying on the Town Center’s protective radius. This change would make the battle for control over lumber areas between players more dynamic and strategically rich.
