Today we’re announcing a year-long Community Event for Age of Mythology: Retold! We’ve assembled a host of challenges for players to take on, with every point earned for objectives completed counting towards the rewards!
Objectives will vary in difficulty; from completing any kind of match to proving mastery on the battlefield with challenging timed feats.
Everyone will need to work together to earn the rewards, with monthly score targets in place to unlock cosmetic rewards. Can you play your part in reaching the final goal and unlocking a new god portrait?
Any contribution towards the total goal makes you eligible to earn all the rewards unlocked by the community each month. So you just have to show up and play a part is update coming soon for May 1st
Hey, I have a question, the first participation award - I have a green tick there, but in profile pics, it’s still locked. All of them are unlocked only at the end of the month or is this a mistake?
Everyone? What qualifies as the total being measured against, number of games sold, daily player base, something else?
I do not understand why the requirements can (so far) be accomplished in a single skirmish or daily celestial event. It just means for the remainder of that week I’m stuck with extra stuff taking up my screen real estate and making normal play more difficult. is there a hot key to make that disappear that I haven’t discovered?
And in week 2, why isn’t my Argo being recognized when I can first train it? There’s no way to get a free one, so that’s not the issue, when I train one, that check box doesn’t get checked. I had to delete it and then train a new one in the mythic age.
It is consistent, first game of the day, nothing is checked, I get notifications that I’ve built a titan and won a skirmish, then next game I start all checkboxes are checked again.
