I’m gonna be honest, I was just expecting gold plated statues and I’m still disappointed with this one. The amount of work that probably went into this doesn’t really warrant the amount of advertising its been receiving. Alternate portraits and statues would have been much more of an exciting feature, allowing people to customise their temples and TCs. But still, will have to wait and see.

Tbf this is more or less like any other cosmetic pack received by the DE games; like AOE3 DE getting explorer cosmetics. It will be interesting to see the standalone retail price but the Expansion Pass is based principally around the Aztecs and Demeter, with 2 cosmetics thrown in. Not sure what you were expecting but this is what was advertised.
I knew what to expect, and that is what they advertised yes. But I would have liked more. The amount of work to create gold covered statues would have been really minimal. I would have liked to see more effort and love from the devs, that’s all.

i understood you already and i feel the same way. so far Demeter and this cosmetic pack both have (had?) such god damn high potential and both (so far) missed the mark by several miles…

Really dumb question, but how do you toggle between statues?
EDIT: Never mind I think I found it. It can only be off or on? There is no way of having some statues in gold and others in their normal state? Wow… and I’m even more disappointed with this feature.
well i like the icons. even it seems chinese and japanese helmet icons are missing? still nice idea with the icons. witht he (gold) statues i hoped for more but i understand its “just” a show-off for the fans which is a nice idea but i still hope so better more drastic cosmectic pack will come later especially since the portraits are often no serious alternative.
