with the characters so big a huge population limit would be crazy. it would be nice to have around 1000 in my opinion.

I don’t know, IMO it’s to much especially for low end PC

Yeah, I have decent specs and in the heat of two armies battling it out over 300 army each it starts to run slower
If 4v4 with 200 population each is supported than 1v1 with 800 population each is too.
AoE3 managed to do that in 3D in 2005.
