Been playing Aoe since day 1 (yes I’m that old)
Took a break for a few years because live got very busy and I’m not that great of a player
Currently playing AoE II DE on “hard”, BF map, 1v1 against the AI
I always start of playing defensive until the Imperial age before I attack
Once I mass units and launch an attack on the enemy base the AI gives up every easily, 90% of their base is untouched, I have enough units to destroy the base and the AI seems to have calculated that and throws in the towel
