As of the latest patch, Algiers still reuses pre-TAR assets. This Includes:
Wolves:

Pumas:

Asian style trade routes:

And Indian villagers:

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

My suggestions are:

Replacing wolves with African wolf or African wild dog (or honey badgers if the devs don’t want to add new animals even if those could be used on regular maps) and pumas with lions.
Replacing Asian trade Routes with the African ones introduced in TAR
Replacing Indian villager models with Berber Nomad ones.
