Allies able to “steal” allies things

When playing multiplayer allies are able to steal other allies;

Plenty vault
Hesperides tree
All herd animals

I had a point where I didn’t have any of my Hesperides trees because allies stole them from me, and it wouldn’t transfer them back until an enemy took them.

It is annoying when you have herd animals and they need to travel through an ally’s town to get to yours but then they get stolen.

Being able to take them is useful though if your ally is out of the game.

This is just how the presence capture system works. I much prefer it to the system in AoE IV where only the scout can perform a “conversion”. You can task your herdables around your allies town with waypoints instead of directly through it. You can also “gift” herdables to your ally when scouting around their town by tasking them to go to their town center.

Okay, I understand with herd animals, but not my trees and plenty vaults in the middle of my town. When an ally passes by, it instantly becomes theirs.

I agree it’s not ideal but since it is in the middle of your town, one of your nearby villagers or units will soon convert it back to your side or you can force it.

That’s the problem and what I said in my original post, it goes to ally but won’t go back until an enemy converts it

Gotcha. Yeah, the conversion on buildings should work the same way herdables do.

this is how it always worked since the original, I dont see why it should change. Also this seems more of a discussion since this is not a bug. Please move it to appropriate section

Not with plenty vaults and trees it’s not. It’s a bug. Thanks.
