Playing on PUP and 4/4 French with random civ selector today. Last game even tried to unselect random first, then reselect it, same thing. Opponent was also taking random civ in the last two instances of this, and he also got French.

Thank you for reporting this @Hobotus! Was this in Quick Match? Were all seats players, or was any AI present?
Quick match 1v1, no AI. Seems like every time I restart the game I get a new randomizer civ though. But while playing it’s not changing? Not sure if that’s the case, small sample size…

It happened to me several times today for Custom games as well…
