Some Ideas for an new Game Mode:

Own Game-Mode for old (ancient history / time period) Age Civs
–>( Age of Empires 1 / Return of Rome Civs and the new DLC Civs ( Battle for Greece) .
-
ancient times period → So everything before medieval Age.
-
Many possible options for future dlc content.

i will ty to explain it better: (sorry for my bad English)
at the moment, almost nobody play the AOE2 Return of Rome DLC at the multiplayer/Custom mode. I really like the AOE1 civs there and would like to play these civs VS the new DLC (Battle of the Greece) Civs → for example Sparta
i know, there are two complete different Mechanics, but its almost the same time period and would be nice to play ancient civs (everything before medieval ) and without playing AOE1. I don’t need none of these new Mechanics, just the Basic Civs. According they did it with the rome civs for aoe2.

What do you even mean???
Make a game mode where you go though all ages of AoE1 and then all ages of AoE2?
Make a gamemode where AoE1 civs fight Chronicles civs?
Chronicles civilisations are AoE2 civilisations with an ancient skin.
They do not function like AoE1 civilisations at all.

I’ve been wanting to make a AoE1 ascend into AoE2 civs mod for quite some time now. I think I’ll actually make it after the new DLC drops

Did you know the forum has a translator? I don’t know how many languages, but I have seen it for at least a few languages. So if you type in a language easier to write, other users can click a globe icon on your post and see it translated. Pretty cool!
Also, did you know of this new DLC ("Chronicles of Greece)? Maybe this does a little bit of what you are talking about? It is brand new, just released a day or two ago, and has Sparta civ, along with a couple others (Achaemenids and Athenians):
