The page was from 3-4 years ago…
I think you’re replying the wrong person. MostDragon was the one to point out that that’s old.
I thought but it is almost impossible imo.
Some can be scenario editor units.
This I agree 100%.
Hype?? Seriously? They said nothing for half a year.
What I think is that we’re going to get a three civs DLC, considering new civ+ campaign is 6 achievements, but campaign only is 4.
At least two of them are going to be focused on India. Maybe we’re going to get one from the extended Indosphere like Siamese/Ayuthaya
Would explain first of all why we got 21 achievements and that the achievement took so long.
It wasn’t a criticism against him, just pointing out how old it was, so as to not be relevant to a DLC.
Or new regional units (like Steppe Lancers or Battle Elephants)
Actually those buildings have a lot more in common with Late Roman and Byzantine architecture than Slavic architecture.
Medieval Gerogia was not geographically connected to a Slavic nation like it is in modern times.
To its north were Tatars, Cumans, Kipchacks and other Caucasian states and peoples.
Remember that in the medieval period, Roman (as well as Greek) influence in the region had been present for centuries and had a big impact on Anatolia and the Caucasus.
The autogenerated title. Apparently, the Forum recognizes the pieces and names them according. I named it actually incam 1, saved it locally and posted it here.
Where the puzzle can be found? Please give the website.
ONlY 3?NOT more found?
Yeah, please find more, i like
Possible. Both side has an infantry unit that is throwing something.
So far these are all we get.
I am very hyped now.
A while ago, I saw someone post a prediction that the elephant archer will be removed as a unique unit and become a regional unit for South Asia.
I feel like after seeing that puzzle image, that idea is more viable.
I think it makes a lot of sense, since the elephant archer has been a bit of an underperforming unique unit but I could see it working better as a regional unit.
On that thought, I don’t think we’ll see 3 new civs, but probably 2 new civs and a heavy redesign of the “Indians” civ ingame now.
So we have
Light Cavalry
Knife/Chakram Throwers
Heavy Armored Elephant
Spearman
As long as you don’t need a castle to train, it will be a bit more viable.
It is very possible if EA is a regional unit now. Current Indians can be renamed as “Rajputs” and they will get the new cavalry unit as their new UU.
Exactly, to both things you wrote.
I could be wrong but that makes the most sense to me.
I’ve been doing some light reading on Indian/South Asian military history over the past few days and the idea of an elephant archer being exclusive to a single civ feels a bit silly to me.
Elephant archers were a thing in many places at many points in time.
A tanky archer is a hard unit to balance in game though. What do you combine that with? How do you counter that? We don’t really have answers to that yet because rarely see the unit, because it’s so hard to balance.
Then again, any concept that makes you ask questions has the potential to be interesting.
