It’s him. Just issued a ban for yet another alt.
Probably a DLC with two new civs in October/November/December.
I doubt, because if this was going to happen, a new steamdb registration for DLC should have already appeared on steamDB as usual.
I knew it! I should be a detective.
His denial was suspicious, and I never really bought it.

And yet people dont like when I call it out
Because you’re suspicious of everyone new. I only make the accusation if I have good reason to believe they’re the same person.
For what it’s worth, another update just dropped, and it’s exclusively map fixes.
They do also say “For fixes related to anything else, please keep an eye on future updates!”
Perhaps it is noteworthy that they said “fixes”. Not “updates”, not “fixes and balance changes”. Just “fixes”.
Perhaps this means the next update is currently planned to address general gameplay bugs. Perhaps this means that they have no plans for balance changes white red bull is going on and/or until after AOM is out. Perhaps they believe balance changes qualify as “fixes” and so we can expect balance changes.
Given the brevity of the statement, and their historical inability to accurately communicate as evidenced by the V&V debacle, I really can’t say with any certainty what this statement actually means, but I have been asking for more communication, and so this is certainly better than the nothing we’ve gotten recently.
The problem is, the nature is aoe2 is that all the civs are similar, they only differ by a lottle bit and they largely still plays the same, Crossbow, knight, mangonels, monks. Late game trash units and champions. .even they design 20 more civs it is still the same. For 1v1 late game is still decided by who has 4/5 relics.
Its the main strength of this game anyone with the basic idea can pick any civi up.
Yes, and that’s why I’m opposed to people’s ideas for radically different civilizations that don’t use the same basic mechanics for aging up and other stuff like that. Someone getting that civ on random wouldn’t know what to do.
No point adding new civs i mean all civs are still gonna feel 99% the same…you won’t feel you playing the culture like in aoe3 or aom. You just playing a generic aoe2 civ
That’s why more civilization like Cumans, Tatars, Bengalis, Dravidians, Gurjaras, Aztecs, Mayans, Incas, Vietnamese need to be added.
I pray Romanians or Serbians are not added. They are going to be the same crap again.
And if you don’t even like the diversity of those civs then go back to play AoE3 or AoE4 or AoM, this game is not for you.
Which game forum is this again?
Of course i know this game is not for me. I am not playing it rigjt now. Only occasionally i miss the feeling of microing archers or mangonels then…well i download back and play a few aoe2 games…then that’s it
Ok what do we do then?
There is no need to add more civs that are identical or 90% identical. Leave this game as it is and fix pathing
I don’t think people who admit the game is not for them are the ones the devs are trying to satisfy.
