In most other RTS games there is some kind of structure auto-repair feature on the workers, like a toggle/autocast or patrol or similar.
But in AOM it seems i have to always manually tell my workers to repair every single wall segment and house and building?

No there isn’t but it would be nice to have.
It would also be nice to have a per unit type setting of it the ability should be on auto cast, that applies to repairing and healing too.
I support this idea, it would make a nice QoL feature.

Yes. An autocast option for the repair button would be so much quality of life. Just how it is for abilities with right-click.
Would be nice to do that on Norse Infantry too, especially when you play as Freyr.
You have units that are idle and can’t even collect resources like villagers, and in the case of playing as Freyr it doesn’t even cost anything to repair your buildings.
