Everything was perfect now its bloody awful sound wise. I have a 5.1 setup. I don’t want to change my system per game. I just want normal sounds in the game. i can’t find any setting, it could be me.

There’s no setting. Devs botched the whole audio engine in the game. The patch notes mention reverb, situational audio effects, 5.1 and 7.1 support but I guess we should trust that the new FMOD audio engine is smart enough to adapt. It seems it isn’t.
I suspect the performance drops some people are reporting are also related to the audio change.
