Hi, I know this has been asked before but I don’t seem to be getting any help from both Microsoft or this game’s publisher.
I’ve had this game since launch and it works fine on Windows 10. I recently got a new PC with Windows 11 and it will not work. It will only load to a black screen and then stop working. Once I click “close the program”, I can not attempt to open it again without restarting my computer. It gives the error code “This game is already running. Error code: 0x800705b4.”
From what I can gather, there’s a good chance that its Windows Defender not allowing the aoede.exe file in WindowsApps to work, however it states I do not have permission to open this file. Therefore I can not add it to the exclusion list.
Does anyone know why this game (and only this game) won’t work? Any help is greatly appreciated.
