AOE II Dawn of the Dukes: Bohemians and Poles

The Bohemian lion was granted for the valour of one duke. So the wiki tells the truth.

I have seen somewhere that Bohemia got the Lion when it was elevated to a Kingdom?

I can’t find any of the links.
What makes it so difficult not to post the facebook page or whatever here?

The Icons on the photos are from El Manko FB page, who is an Argentine AOE2 caster. The .png images I just posted are from FE webpage.

I tried entering Houfnice, Hussite Wagon, Obuch & Imperial Hussar to the 150px unit icons, but that gave me 404…

How did you tried entering other unit icons ? I also tried to get on the page for Poles and Bohemians tech tree but got 404 error too.

I found it

Open image in new tab and replace the civ name with Poles or Bohemians.

It’s only the icons which are uploaded, there are no pages on the website about either Poles or Bohemians.

The lion was granted by Barbarossa to Vladislav II (as a duke, Vladislav I as a king) together with a kingship. However, that was more like Vladislavs personal posession.

In 1212 the title was made hereditary together with the lion as a coat of arms :slight_smile: But then it was Přemysl Otakar I, the son of Vladislav. So probably an emperor didnt want to be overly creative and just copied the already existing solution :slight_smile:

Bulgarians are Turks, just like Magyars. Everyone is Turk.

Bulgars = Turks

Bulgarians =/= Bulgars

Because they are beautiful and graceful but at the same time powerful or dangerous animals.

Bulgarians are Turks.

No. Only the ruling class of the first Empire were Turk ethnically.

Bulgars are of Turkic (not Turkish) origin
Bulgarians are more Slavic… Like people of Rus were Slavs although the ruling class was Nordic.

It would be great if they put the new civs in a PUP first for testing.
I don’t know if that’s going to happen with August so close though.

We need the PUP to test the another Coop campaigns also, and ofc the new balance changes if there are.

I have it explained here if you want to have a look.
