AOE II Dawn of the Dukes: Bohemians and Poles

Mission 6 is placed on Grunwald. “The Fruits of Her Labor” - the Battle of Gruwald was fruit of her entire reign.

Ok i am little disappointed that they focus whole civ only on husits. Lazy from them i guess. No Kutná Hora, no Defenestration, just some boost of wagons. I dont like these type of UT.

i’m gonna guess that Lithuanians are about to get nerfed in some way.

I’m kind of dissapointment with Polish discription. It is completly nohistorical at all. Polish historian reading that Poles had medium cavalry ( which applies for early days of Poland before knights ) and see that Poles were known for maneuverability and organization will have heart attack xD. But it is AoE II so… Still really hyped for new civs.

the game doesn’t really employ “medium cavalry” though. it’s either heavy or light, and light cavalry isn’t really a solo game plan.

I think more change is better, the game has to addapt and new aspects keeps things interesting.

I agree that the Bohemians could get a differing architecture but I have been in Poland a few times now and the Feudal age buildings, the castle age buildings are all on point, its just the Church that should not be Orthodox.

The biomes where most ME civs as well as the Berbers are located is sandy desert, thus the sand stone structures are perfect for them. The Biomes south of the Sahel is more Savanna and thus have mud brick buildings, thus ther building sets are perfect.

I do agree with all the rest of your points.

Could you share a link to the DoTD info+Pics you posted if you’d be so kind?

I’am happy that Winged Hussar are shared with Lithuania. It’s historical correct.

Also I would still like to point out we don’t see any bonuses to civilizations.
Probably Poles got free Stone mining.

Ah prase God Three in One! More religious wars to fight ,wollollo, more lands to conquer and the blessing of getting to create and shape the Kingdom of Poland! POLSKA!!!

By default I place all my farms around a mill , creating an ‘‘argicultural centre’’, this Polish mill bonus will now just enhance the ‘‘incorrect’’ agricultural practices I have been championing for all my years in AoE2. (Not placing farms around a TC like pros. Where have you ever seen farms in the center of a town/city?!) hahaha I know , I have issuse… but wanting to fight as Poland is NO LONGER ONE OF THEM!!! 11

Them sharing the Winged Hussars make Poles feel even more unnecesary honestly (not to mention having a unit called Winged Hussars when we already have winged Hussars 11)

It seriously feels like the devs arent even trying to make the civ unique
