AoE II: DE at E3 2019

Hmm, something similar to how architecture is currently done - sets like western europe, mediterranean, etc? This way there is only a few sets to customize. Maybe could even replace architecture sets with civilization sets, where for example meso-american civilizations are in their own set with same appearance for architecture and units? It would demand more work, but seems really cool.

You seem to care a lot about your scenarios. Can I see some of your work?
I plan to start playing AOE 2 again when DE comes out with all those incredible graphics  And would like to know about quality scenarios to play.

I looked at first E3 demo gameplay video more closely and observed appearance of different buildings in fully repaired and collapse states.
I compared appearance of buildings in those states at mentioned snapshots and report whether they are significantly different (good, building proceeds naturally to collapse) or not.

Franks castle 1:25 vs 2:08 different
Malians town center 3:45 vs 4:23 similar
Burmese tower 5:14 vs vs 5:32 different
Burmese town center 6:13 vs 6:23 different
Japanese castle 8:15 vs 9:27 similar

It appears that for some buildings the proceeding from functioning state to collapse state is natural, but for others it is not. Maybe graphics in different states are still unfinished for some buildings and later will be made better?
Have to check for this in beta testing and mention to developers which buildings don’t proceed naturally to collapse.

■■■■ yeah, I see why not. I just can’t wait to see its graphics. I am already having fake orgasm.

I can’t imagine how AOE 3 DE would look now! That game still looks great. I am literally stoked and in full AOE mode. Also they announced Flight Simulator, another of mine teenage favorites. I love MS currently, have become their fanboy to be honest. They are doing everything right. Cheap Gamepass, xcloud, PC friendly approach…can’t wait!

OH ■■■■!!! DUDE! Guys in 30s only know of this game. Yes! They definitely need to bring their classics to their next console and Windows. Do you remember Road Rash too (I know this is not their game but I used to play that game a lot too)

Never played that one. But I did have that MS racing wheel. Also that Force Feedback Joystick controller. Still gotta get it back from someone.

Last OS it worked for me was XP officially. But unofficially their are fan patches that allow this game to work…but let’s talk about AOE. Afterall this is AOE fourm. But seriouly I am zooming in every detail in these screenshots, seriously can’t wait for AOE 3, they should have completed the Mythology too, but no worries, eventually they will I can feel it since more fans will want it after playing these. More fans meaning 90% of people of Steam who have yet to play this game.
