There have been a bunch of threads just like this one throughout the years for this game, and yet, I don’t recall seeing just one for the other games.

There is another version that has cows instead of sheep.
Those who defend AOE-4 say it’s the prettiest in the franchise, but rarely is there a screenshot that’s more or less beautiful. It must be beautiful on the inside.
I created one for Age of Mythology Retold a while ago as seen below.
I decided to do this one for Age of Empires III Definitive Edition to bring more positivity to the game after they decided not to add new content to the game.

AoE3/AoM looks the best in stills. AoE2 looks the best in action. AoE4 looks bad in both.

Maybe AoE4 is just the art style that speaks to WE. Bland and muddy.
Jokes aside, AoE3 is just a beautiful game and it’s a shame they didn’t promote it more.
