I started the thread to try to bring positivity to the forums for AoE III DE with beautiful pictures from the game and here we are someone doesn’t like the way I am doing it and flags it for spam despite it not being spam. Not many people outside of me have been posting pictures from the game so I don’t see how I am killing the thread when I am keeping it active with new stuff.

Posting thousand of cloned photos is not needed.
Just post the one you like the most, not every light mode for each one.

What I like specifically for a picture someone else might not like so much and prefer a different version so they can see those different versions and I personally think its cool to also be able to see a different version of the same image based on time of a day and compare them.

Just to be clear I think the original idea is noble and I love the way this game looks. Maybe the wiki would be a better place to upload the multiple photo variations?
I like a lot of your pictures, I just think it is hard to digest and might discourage participation from other people.

I might think of it a bit more like art. You’re the artist, so maybe don’t worry about “someone might like another lighting better”. Choose the best ones because you can have your own opinion and I think the community will enjoy it.
Btw, I’m not on the “it’s spam” boat at all, but the number of photos does take a bit of time to load (that might be a me problem btw).

I don’t want to register for wiki and then have to learn how to use it to then do that and they already have images of stuff anyways. I also didn’t have in mind using wiki or anything else then this forum in a thread for posting images.
This situation is reminding me of why I hate dealing with people in the real world because it causes me anxiety when people always seem to criticize me when I do things to try to help which is why I don’t really offer to help people much anymore and now I am feeling terrible like that in this thread that was supposed to be fun and positive after being criticized and told I have been flagged for spam 
I haven’t been good at art at all I suck at painting, drawing and so on. Taking screenshots from AoE III DE and AoMR and posting them in a picture thread is the closest thing to it I have ever done that got any enjoyment out of thanks to getting positive reactions to it and now that’s getting ruined somewhat
I still have a lot of screenshots I took before that I haven’t posted yet and don’t want to not use them.

Then use them. It’s a nice thread. Don’t listen to the haters. I was just saying don’t sell yourself short, people will like the photos you choose if you decide you like some more than others and so don’t feel like you need to put every photo in the thread if you don’t want to

@EricTheRed283 Even though I can’t regulate anything here and also really appreciate your thread (otherwise I wouldn’t have participated earlier), I would prefer it if you simply took the best shot rather than the same scene four times with different lighting settings.
Also, as @AssertiveWall20 recommended, you can also make the images smaller.

Those Lenape look great, but they are just a variant of the Cherokee in practice.
I probably am going to use some of them like the natives ones I still have left, outlaws from the different regions as well as fireworks and hot air balloon in the sky assuming getting reported for spam doesn’t cause issues before then. I don’t really want to have to make so many choices for what ones I like most especially after all this time of not doing it at all.
I don’t think I am going to bother with the coast, rivers, lakes, seas ect… ones I have because thats a ton of them and I don’t feel like sticking around in this thread posting images for too much time anymore after the joy of it being killed for me after getting reported for spam and worrying I could get more reports of it in this thread.
Don’t get too discouraged. You’re keeping the forum alive and it’s interesting to see all the various units and how they upgrade through the ages because you don’t always see or notice all these small details in game. It’s also a good reference of the unit visuals which can be helpful for modders to see what models are out there that they can repurpose.
The main thing people are taking issue with is that having the same scene in different lightings is a little redundant. Maybe just pick the clearest or pose them differently for some of the shots.

Its hard not to for me with all the times I have been criticized in my life when trying to help with things and it spreads online into a picture thread that’s supposed to be to try to help bring positivity to a game I love that has had a lot of negativity more recently after a canceled DLC and looking like no new updates will come when there are still some serious issues in the game with bugs and exploits among other things.
Its hard for me to pick one with how great they can all look. I think its great to compare with different lighting from time of day I wish I wasn’t the only one who seems to think this way.
I also didn’t want to just toss all the ones I have already saved and haven’t posted yet when there are a lot of them involving rivers, lakes, seas and so on with some unit ones too.
I like the backgrounds on a lot of the pictures, I’m curious though, are you working from maps or creating a background specifically for each picture?
I have been loading maps and taking screenshots with whatever random spawns there are for almost all of them.
