AoE III DE will not start (Windows 10 Edition)

I installed AoE3DE from the Microsoft Store, and after the installation, the game logo appears and stays on the screen forever. At first I thought it might have just taken awhile to load, but after sitting there for 20 + minutes I knew something was up.

Things I have tried:
Reinstalling (3 times)
Restarting PC (4 times)
Clean boot
Changing Permissions on the folder where the game is located
Launching the .exe with command prompt (Running as admin, it says “Access denied”)

I am not sure what to try next. I know it has to be some sort of access issue, but I don’t know how to fix it.

It mostly doesn’t work for anyone. You’ll have to wait for a patch fix or get the game on Steam instead; there it works.

Oh alright. I hope it comes soon, I was excited seeing this come to gamepass.
