AOE IV - Where are chinese, abbasid dynasty campaigns?

The campaign is too short, they will add the other civilizations campaign after? As a DLC?

Do you find the campaigns short? Personally, I really liked the current campaigns, the documentary aspect is a great idea, which adds a cultural aspect to the game.

Otherwise yes I think the other campaigns will arrive later in DLC, I don’t think they will only leave the current campaigns.

It is necessary to realize already of the colossal work that it had to be to make the current campaigns with the reportage.

I imagine they will add these down the road and based on past updates, we could get more civs and campaigns as well as some much needed balance and quality of life improvements

Yes that’s for sure, we have a great base already, but I’m already impatient to know at least the future additions that they have planned

Too short? There are 35 missions available in AoE4, which is more than any previous game in the franchise and more than what Star Craft 2 had available in the campaign at launch.

For context and comparison, AoE2 only had 4 campaigns that included 6 missions each for a total of 24 missions (not counting the William Wallace tutorial campaign) in the base game. AoE3 had 3 campaigns, each included 8 missions total, again for a total of 24 missions each. For further comparison, Star Craft 2 included a total of 29 missions in the first installment, if you include all of the optional missions and the one secret mission.

Not really sure what you were expecting or how much more campaign you feel should be included in an RTS at launch, but AoE4 has more than a comparable amount of campaign content.

Good news is we should get more and it probably won’t be very long. Looking forward to watching things develop and get fixed.

Totally agree with you, nice comparative analysis, and in addition to the number of missions we must talk about the quality of the campaigns, I found the missions interesting and not boring or unnecessarily difficult, and the documents and documentaries are For me a big plus not insignificant … The achievements of the campaigns must have been a very long work but the quality is there, and I prefer quality to quantity.

But yes we will see what the future holds.
