Yesterday, I was playing the Age of Empires 2: DE campaigns normally. But today I am unable to access my account and never fully load the user window (first image) to login again.
…it didn’t. Have also tried disallowing, and allowing all settings in Xbox profile, signing in and out of all xbox services. This doesn’t happen with the game I own through Steam, so it must be something with the xbox profile?
How do you request refund? I only bought it to play multiplayer.

AoE3:DE is free? You mean free trial for limited time, or free forever? Somehow I think you mean the former
Either way, fixing this issue for AoE2:DE would be the way to go. And if that doesn’t work, install AoE2:HD, AoE2:CE, OR AoE2:AoK. Instaling AoE3 is not an answer, and is not even remotely tempting
If you’re playing on GeForce Now there’s not much you can do as one doesn’t have control over certificates and launching AoE3 is not a solution either.
