I pre ordered the game and downloaded it today but when I press play it brings up a notice that says its starting but it doesnt and goes back to steam. I tried redownloading the game multiple times and it still wont work. I have the neccessary specs as I have a gaming PC with windows 10. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Guys, I have the same problem. I bought it yesterday and it simply doesn’t start from Steam. Does anyone know anything about it?

I just visited another forum and the recommend me follow the Option 2 is this link:
You need to open Settings - Apps, write C++ in the “Search in this list” bar, then repair all the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 and 2017 programs. Restart the PC every time you repair a program.
