I want to have access to the AoE1DE buildings in AoE2DE just for eye candy.
(I know you can mod them in but then you have to replace the vanilla AoE2DE buildings)
The Mediterranean AoE2 set mixed with the Roman AoE1 one.
Or both AoE2 and AoE1 Asian sets mixed.
You could build a lot of nice things with that.

likely coming with return of rome

I’m afraid it won’t.
I think all the AoE1DE content will be completely separate from the AoE2DE content.

But once can dream.

pretty sure both could be accessed in editor

I assume they will make RoR like a advanced Data mod.
That means the RoR units and buildings will overwrite AoE2DE ones.
And RoR might even still use the old AoE1 scale that means all tiles are 33% smaller (AoE2 is 50% bigger then AoE1).

These are great, but it’s a shame that
a. the name of one (?) of the creators got censored, and
b. we don’t have a full map screenshot function in DE.

I believe the censored creator is ############### They have a lot of great maps on Reddit.

I tried to edit it 6 times but each time something gets censored.

Yes, I’m well aware it’s not your fault. The forum censor is just way too sensitive.

Super cool, love these delicate and spectacular urban creations.
