Does anyone have any idea where AOE2.net gets it’s data from? I want to make an AOE2 DE stats website for fun/learning and I’m not sure where the data comes from. I don’t see anywhere on the official AOE site that links user names with player ids.
Any ideas?
If you look at the leaderboard-page on this site, the data is requested from https://api.ageofempires.com/api/v2/AgeII
e.g. https://api.ageofempires.com/api/AgeII/GetRLLeaderboard?board=3&page=5
Not sure how far you will get without any documentation of methods provided though.
aoe2.club for example gets its stuff from the Steam Web API, non-Steam profiles cannot be queried.
