Looking at XBox play of SoTL it sounds like a plausible idea.

AoE2 on Android is far better idea than on Console. Atleast Android players can get strong enough to compete with PC players even. No need for automation even.

Problem I see with Xbox is lag even with 68 ping I still notice system lag
With XCloud is possible to play AOE 2 DE here.
