Hello, I’m a long time aoe3 player I tried aoe4 at release and enjoyed the campaign but never really played multiplayer. I recently bought the new dlc mostly for the campaign and since then I’ve been trying online ranked 1v1 and the game has improved so much since the early days.
Graphics are better, balance seems good, the maps are well designed and I’m having a blast playing ranked.
I still don’t really understand all the match ups and have only really played english and french but the game has really improved from what it was at launch when the game was unplayable for me.
I’m a long way from playing at the level I do on aoe3 where I recently broke 1800 elo but either way I’m really enjoying the game and kudos to the devs because the game is unrecognizable, it has improved so much.
I will be recommending that my friends try aoe4 again.
If anyone has any basic tips to help me out I would be grateful as well
