So, every civ in the game has a base wood gather rate of 0.75, apart from otd and KT… OTD have higher than this… and KT have 0.60. Now, KT eco “buff”, said loosely, is getting 20% of that as good, lovely, not a massive thing for the team outside of water maps but nice, until you realise that actually 20% is 0.12 and combined is 0.72 resources per min, therefore 10 vils gathering wood is making 180 resources less per minute, at the start of the game, where they struggle most, this is no eco buff whatsoever for the civ, losing 3 vils on age up also… please make this an eco buff and not an eco disadvantage… Oh and starting with the lowest resource in the game along with mongols is an added joke, at least 150 starting wood so a mill can be built for early deer.
The loss of wood is partially compensated by not needing to walk to a lumber mill or spend your starting wood on one.
Then they automatically get 20% more wood with each age up.
However I do think a buff of some sort is called for. 50 more starting wood would improve their water maps considerably.
I would agree with some more balanced starting resources. I get mongol getting less due to the free ger but still
