Hello.
My friend plays AoE4 on Xbox One X, and after the latest patch, most of his losses are due to game crashes.
Crashes occur randomly without any specific events in the match. He has tried reinstalling the game, switching from Wi-Fi to a wired connection, and resetting all settings, but nothing has helped so far.
Has anyone encountered such an issue and found a solution? What can be done? Thanks!
I have the same problems except it always happens when loading into a multiplayer game. It is random and happens maybe 1 our every 10-15 matches. I have a Series X and Series S and it happens on both of them so it’s not tied to a specific console.
I also always close the game after playing because I know quick resume was causing an issue, but that doesn’t appear to have stopped it completely.
Same thing happening to me, usually first game of the day.
Sucks losing 35 elo for it.
Yep. It’s kind of frustrating when it happens when matching against someone of a much lower rank. I think my last one was -45 elo.
What’s happening to me is it never loads the orange loading bars, but I am in the game load screen. It’s just blank, then I’ll message the other guy and he says I am stuck at 0%. The first time I quit and lost elo, the 2nd time I waited for them to quit and neither of us lost elo. So if it happens to you, just fucking wait it out.
Still crashing a lot, I cannot finish a game now. It has been getting worse since last week
