I’ve been a longtime player (since like 2005) and a modder for a few years now, and I’ve recently found the time and ADHD hyperfixation to create a full 6 scenario campaign for one of the civs that doesn’t have one yet.
My polling on Reddit and in-game seems to indicate that Chinese and Turks are the two that people most want to see but don’t think the developers will ever give us, or don’t trust Microsoft to handle well. (A lot of people referenced Noryang Point and Pachacuti as an example of why not).
What do people here think would be better, a Chinese campaign or a Turk campaign? And do the Chinese need additional civilizations for their campaign, such as the Tanguts, Jurchens, etc., or does the Chinese identity represent them all?
I’ve got several ideas for either civilization, but I’d love to here what people here think would be the best focus for each civ if they got a full-length, 6 scenario campaign with custom voice lines and hundreds of triggers each (the average that I’ve seen in the Forgotten and Last Khans scenarios, which are the newest that can be opened in the editor, is around 120) for complex gameplay?
