I’ve been encountering several annoying games with rare players on my team or the opposing team making erratic and senseless decisions like building random houses on the map or with names with numbers like 1298423 or similar for example which makes it look suspicious because in other games with bot problems I’ve found similar names.
They usually disconnect in dark age or get to feudal and disconnect or when I talk to them they don’t respond and even if they manage to progress in the game they never get to attack the enemy and stay afk in imperial creating more useless economy and sometimes creating some light cavalry from time to time.

They could be AI bots programmed to enter the bot hoster’s game to hinder the enemy team. I found a similar problem in some games I’ve played, in shooters they are easy to fix but in games like age of empires it is annoying because they make you waste a lot of time by giving up to look for another game.
Hmm… I dunno for certain but, it’s possible… (Trying to teach a game to an AI Player has been done in many other ways obviously.) I don’t play much MP anymore though so… I cannot say for sure but, maybe…
