Ottoman: is -20% cost on their army too timid? Ok lets also drop humbaraci cost via royal guard shoot not enough? Ok every card buffs 2 to 3 units. Jeez not enough? Uhhh artillery los. Sheesh guys im sorry lets buff abus again (editors note: instead they made aztec vills heavy infantry)

there is nothing deeper. ottomans before their rework sucked because it was rush or bust, just like the russians.
The key was that you could counter ottomans decently enough with cavalry. Now instead of beeing reasonable about the problem they added the Azap, which singlehandedly is the most op Anti cav in the game by sheer versatility ontop of beeing good enough to fight other units.
What should’ve happened is a card like “Army reform” that would have replaced the lackluster performing jannisary with the Nizam in age 3. Which would have atleast pushed the ottomans torwards Age 3 playability.
The Ulufeli should have never countered artillery as it is. Because quite simply it literally is in it’s current state a light cannon without wood cost, available in age 2, with higher mobility for less pops.

funny how the age3 shipment of 5 humbs can almost oneshot a falc and is able to take out gatlings and Organs in one swing so balanced please make 1pop
