Atlantean Campaign Mission 9

In the mission where you face the Norse titan, he seems to be clearing MUCH faster than in the original, meaning you have to be ready way sooner and hold him for 10-13 minutes until Nidhogg comes or you kill him without Nidhogg. Not sure if this is intentional.

I’ve noticed the Atlantean campaign is generally easier than in Titans, which is probably a good thing considering the original missions might have been too much of a grindfest.

What I also noticed but might be wrong on this, the Skadi upgrade for Throwing Axemen gives them +1 range and a never miss technology, but doesn’t ballistics do essentially the same thing for them? I feel like it’s not that good of an upgrade because of this.

Ballistics makes the Archers predict the future position of the enemy based on speed, if the enemy changes direction the arrow still misses.
Skadis technology makes the axes never miss at all.

Makes sense, thank you!

The speed is intentional, I think, as least on some degrees.

You can also clear the #9 campaign quicker by destroying the enemy base before they complete the buildings, by starting attacks with your start party while you have your berserkers build a base for you.

After that, start to tank the titan with your heroes.
